Henry Winterfeld is a famous children’s author and screenwriter. He was born in 1901 in Hamburg.
In the beginning of World War II he left Germany and went to the USA. There he continued with his writing.
He mostly wrote children book and his first book was "Trouble at Timpetill" published in 1937. He also wrote "Star Girl", "Castaways in Lilliput" and short crime novels "Mystery of the Roman Ransom", "Der Letzte der Sekundaner", "Caius in der Klemme".
He died in 1990 in Maine.
